Rosemarie Macri, of Grove City, passed away on Tuesday evening, Feb. 20, 2018, at St. Vincent's Hospital, Erie, following a week-long illness. She was 73.
Rosemarie was born May 5, 1944, in Pittsburgh to William A. and Anna (Casale) Rossi.
She married John A. Macri Jr. on Aug. 18, 2001.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed writing poetry, working with flowers, gardening, watching butterflies, singing, and most of all, spending time and taking care of her family.
Rosemarie was a member of the Church of The Beloved Disciple, Grove City.
She is survived by: her husband, John, at home; five children, Donna Marie Contarino and husband Bill, of Annapolis; Raymond A. Papalia and wife Brenda, of McCallister, Okla.; Debbi Rivera, of Broward County, Fla.; Dee Dee Ellett and husband Joe, of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and Dominic Macri, Volant; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joanne Rossi; and a brother, Joseph "Bobby" Rossi, both of Grove City.
Her parents; two sons, Robert Adam Papalia and Pasquale "Jr." Papalia; a grandson, Raymond Anthony Papalia Jr.; a sister, Anita Rossi; and a brother, Willie Rossi preceded, Rosemarie in death.
