Mercer, formerly of Grove City, Pa - azel Irene Yeager, 77, of Mercer, formerly of Grove City and Punta Gorda, Fla., passed at home on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, following a brief illness.

Hazel was born Aug. 17, 1949, in Grove City to Milo L. and Dorothy M. (Stevenson) Miller Sr.

Hazel was a 1968 graduate of Grove City High School. She was a homemaker and prior to her disability, she worked in the restaurant business in the local area and also while living in Punta Gorda, Fla.

She was a member of the American Legion Post 159, Mercer.

Hazel loved her family and watching sports, especially the Pittsburgh Penguins. She enjoyed baking and selling the pies that she made. Hazel had a great heart and was a lover of animals. Her family will miss her greatly.

She is survived by her son, Tom (Tonia) Kutlus, Grove City; two grandchildren, Jermey (fiancée, Jasmine Saylor) Kutlus and Jacob Kutlus; a sister-in-law, Trisha Miller; a niece, Maggie Miller; a nephew, Jesse (Brandy) Miller; and Jordan Rider, who was a bonus grandson to Hazel.

Hazel is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Milo Miller Jr.
