Formerly of Grove City - Betty J. Glenn, 89, Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Grove City, passed peacefully on Thursday morning, Jan. 29, 2026, following a lengthy illness.

Betty was born in Grove City, on March 13, 1936, to Albert H. and Elizabeth L. (Schafer) Foster. She married Dean L. Glenn on May 5, 1955. He preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 2019.

Betty was a member of East Main Presbyterian Church, Grove City.

She was a graduate of Grove City High School, Class of 1953, and she earned a business school degree following high school.

Betty retired in 1994 from H.L.R. Anderson Insurance, Grove City, where she was employed for over 25 years.

Betty was a member of the London Grange and in high school days she was elected Grange Queen.

She was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

Betty is survived by two children, Gaye (Todd) C. Hansen, Columbus, Ohio, and Wayne (Susan) R. Glenn, Grinnell, Iowa; a daughter-in-law, Carol A. Glenn, Harrisville; four grandchildren, Chad Crossley, Paula Miller, Madison and Trevor Hansen; two great-grandchildren, Josh Bell and Alyssa Miller, and a great-great-granddaughter, Evelyn McMillen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Douglas E. Glenn; and a brother, Albert H. Foster Jr.
