Judi Ann Rose


Judi Ann Rose, 56, of Grove City, went home to be with the Lord on Friday morning (June 21, 2019) in Grove Manor following a lengthy battle with MS.
She was born in Grove City to Donald W. and Evelyn M. (Amon) Montgomery.
Due to her health, Judi retired early from Grove City College where she worked in housekeeping. Previously she worked at Wendell August Forge and she taught in the daycare at the Grove City YMCA for five years. While living in Indiana she was a daycare director.
Judi formerly attended the First Church of God, where she sang in the choir and was on the church praise team. She also attended Grove City Alliance Church.
She was a graduate of Lakeview High School in 1980.
Judi was very artistic and creative; she enjoyed working with children and doing crafts.
Judi loved children and loved her son Hunter D. Rose of Union, Ohio, who survives her. She is also survived by: her boyfriend, John Burritt, Kane; four sisters, Deborah Thomas and husband, Rev. Alan, Winter Haven, Fla., Linda D. Flynn and husband, Robert, Grove City, Rhonda VanDyke, Cortland, Ohio, and Wendy K. Bortz and husband, Richard, Clarks Mills; four brothers, Dennis L. Montgomery and wife, Ann, Stoneboro, Matthew W. Montgomery, and wife Martha, Newton Falls, Ohio, Brian S. Montgomery and wife, Becky, Stoneboro, and Curtis J. Montgomery and wife, Marilou, Grove City.
Her parents preceded Judi in death.

Calling hours: 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday (6-24-19) at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, INC., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday (6-25-19) at the funeral home, with Rev. Boyd Smith.
Burial: Mount Irwin Cemetery.
