Jonathan  Grace


Jonathan "Jack" Grace, 82, a lifetime resident of Wolf Creek Township, passed at home on Friday morning, May 17, 2019, after a five-year courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on the family farm on April 22, 1937, to James L. and Carrie E. (Naylor) Grace.
Jack married Dorothy L. "Dottie" Westlake on July 20, 1957. She survives at home.
Jack was a 1954 graduate of Grove City High School and a member of Millbrook Presbyterian Church.
He was a self-employed farmer throughout his life.
He formerly worked at Grove City Bus Lines for 25 years and Cooper Bessemer. For many years he was the caretaker of Union Home Cemetery.
Together with his wife, Dottie, they owned and operated Graceland Farm Market, which was established by Jack's parents in 1962. Later they added glass gifts and the greenhouse items.
Jack was active with the Pennsylvania Vegetable Growers Association.
Most important in Jack's life was God, family and farming.
Survivors include his wife, Dottie, at home; six children, Dawn Grace and partner Wayne Jaillet, Frank Grace and wife Bonnie, Jackie Grace, Bill Grace, Nancy Grace and Mark Grace and wife Dawn; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Nancy McCauslin; and a brother, James D. Grace and wife Ida.
His parents preceded Jack in death.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Calling hours: From 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday (5-20-19) at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME Inc., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.
Service: Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday (5-21-19) at the funeral home.
Burial: Union Home Cemetery.
